Field of Spring

Fufufufu~ See what I did there?

For #Children-of-Big3's Spring trade~ For ~fieldofheather!!

There's a lot I kinda wanna say about this pic, but to spare everyone a long description,_2L8 I'll just say this:

Best freaking thing I've done for such a bad start. I did a fair amount of experimenting in Photoshop after I finished the pic in SAI, and although I didn't keep most of the -ness added in PS, I actually learned some new stuff for next time.

So anyway, here's how I see it:
Spring is full of wonder and magic. However, for Nico, spring was the recesses of the Underworld while Persephone was on "vacation." If he was lucky, he could bypass spring allergies. So he really didn't know what to expect when Percy and Thalia invited him from hell to a world he had never seen before.

/derp. So Percy and Thalia pretty much go crazy with ADHD and candy and chocolate (evidence on faces), and they leave Nico totally confused about why spring makes them so happy. I may or may not write a real fanfiction about this. I do well with crack with plots... Basically the converse of my old story HBFN...

Just realized in every group trade I draw Thalia. Differently every time, too. AND PERCY DON'T LOOK RIDICULOUS FOR ONCE!! And Nico's hand ain't lookin' too bad~ XD
